The probably is JVB was overhyped this offseason and he's finding out how difficult the Valley actually is.
Yeah and there’s no way he’s moving up. So either he moves down a conference, decides wants to come back (Not sure if we say yes to that or not) or maybe goes back overseas. 4th option transfer and stays in the Valley somehow.

I wouldn't think so either unless his agent is owed a favor. I think his game is suited for the MVC and I think he'll get better with more burn under his belt. I did expect him to shoot better and sub 40% from the line is inexcusable for a guard.

I mean...dude can get his bag if he wants it ...but it's going to come with either lesser playing time or lesser competition or both

Would be interesting to see a study of MM players avg. 25+ mpg that go HM and see their mpg avg.
Of course, there are many cases like Conwell, A. Reeves, Lendeborg, etc…but probably equally as many that “waste” their final eligibility. At least they get paid though, I guess.

Tried getting a list via AI but unsuccessful. It said 700-750 MMs that averaged 25mpg transferred up over last couple cycles but couldn't give me the names so I couldn't even look to see what they were averaging now. But I bet it would be interesting data to see.
