Which is it?: Our talent is competitive and good enough to win, but the coaching is not which leads to collapses in the final 5 minutes due to poor closing strategy and substitutions OR our talent is inferior (the majority opinion on this board) but playing competitively because our coaches have a great game plan of attack, defense and substitutions (certainly NOT the opinion on this board) that hides the deficiencies for 35 minutes but eventually superior talent defeats superior coaching.
If it were both inferior talent and poor coaching, how is it that the team leads so often until the final 5 minutes only to lose repeatedly by 6 points or less?? In that situation, it would seem repeated blowout losses would be the order of the day every game.
