I'm with you. He's a solid player, but has no particular skill that should make him appealing to P4 schools. Best of luck to him whatever happens. I'm still wondering why he only got two years of eligibility..................
I don't fault any player for cashing in on a huge paycheck. I am 77 and I have been through all stages of life, family, etc. I know how much tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars means to a family. This is a once-in-a-lifetime windfall for some of these guys.
I agree. He is a good mid-major player at this point. I think the Valley or MAC is a good fit for him. And beyond that even, we don't have any players that any high majors are drooling over.
I’m not on instagram, but I’m guessing this is an agency that represents Camp and they are basically advertising and putting out feelers mid-season????
Man I don’t know if Camp (or any family) signed off on that but that’s just not a very good look. College athletics sucks

If that ad was with Camp's permission I would cut him with no NIL and no schollie. The timing is not appropriate.

So if they put an ad out with his permission and he should be cut because of it? I mean - clearly they didn’t need his permission in the first place but let’s assume they did you want him cut because they put out an ad using his name? WTF.
The timing isn’t appropriate? Why because you proved 116 shooters are currently shooting better him in the country? So are you the one that gets to decide when the timing is appropriate? He has to be top 100? Top 50? You arbitrarily pull a number out of the air that makes this better timing? Gotcha.

I guess I just have old fashioned ethics which are ignored today. It's not appropriate to market yourself to another school in the middle of the season. You are just wrong on this.
I hate it all, but ethics and morals unfortunately do not apply in this crazy existence of NIL.
Don't you think there could be damage to team dynamics or unity? There has always been competition when recruiting employees and players, but don't you think we can still have ethical standards? I know there has always been cheating but people didn't flaunt it.

Sure there could be, just like when people find out what others are getting. My hope is that he’s trying to test the market to give us a number to match. I won’t lose any sleep worrying about stuff like this. Whoever shows up this summer is who will play. I hope Camp is one of them.
