The Captain Level
If it ends up being the next program, then yes. Hopefully we could convince dudes to stay but if not then so be it. How many guys on our 25-26 roster have been here for 2 years? Which ones have actually gotten better? If we can prove that we can develop players it will make us more attractive to players who want to be developed. I'd love for us to point to a list of P4 teams to which we've sent players. Isn't that what schools do, develop students, sent them to the next level, then compile a list of the great companies that our students have gone to? What's the difference? There's always another level in life. We (ISU) are who we are and there's nothing wrong with that. Lets be the best us we can, and develop guys to get to the next level, whatever that might be. And maybe at some point our program rises to another level.Player development why? Development for the next program they play in? I don’t understand the logic here if the most you keep a player on average is 2 years. It’s literally a non factor or at least much further down on the list of things that actually matter.
