I doubt if it had anything to do w/ their gym. If you examine the Stetson roster, you'll see an abundance of "diversity," which is quite a shock for a young man nurtured in the corn fields of Indiana. I don't think he was attracted to the chemistry of the squad.

I know it wasn't diversity.. the kid was a long way from home at Stetson. His whole family and girlfriend is here in Indiana. He is either moving to an In State School here or a spot at a major program opened and he was recruited behind the scenes. He is an A student and can be put on academic. His play would be a great fit in the new program. The people I know in Blackford were as surprised by the news as any.

Perhaps some you cultural "brainchild's" can dissect the concept of "homesickness," and what causes this condition? Btw, did ANYONE note my use of the term "cornfield" in my initial comment or comprehend the symbolism?

This kid was probably sick of seeing all of the hot beach girls down in Florida and decided he wanted to come home to see all of the cornfed cows we have up here in Indiana.

I've watched parts of some of his games. Are their others on here that think he might not have the speed for our level?
