I was there. UL’s homecoming game. Their team ran their mouths to the media that week about how they were going to “do violence” to this no-name team from TH. Great bulletin board matl. We beat them 41-14 and their 2nd TD came during mop up time. Bobby Boyce nearly beheaded one of their receivers and then stood over the guy to examine his de-cleating handiwork! Great day to be a Sycamore!

We tried to get out of that game to play LSU but they needed us for their homecoming.

That was a beat down for sure. Back in 78 playing at Louisville, they were killing us mercifully. The fans were throwing glass beer bottles at our players. Wasn’t a player, but on our sideline.

Wonder how we scheduled Houston Christian? Seems odd they would come to Indiana State to play a game with no payout to speak of. I see they also are playing SMU.

They must play for cheap like North Alabama because they aren't on the schedule again for a return trip.

In other scheduling news I see where we added D2 McKendree (IL) to complete the schedule for next season. Looks like another 12 game season next year!!! Ball State is also paying us to come back to Muncie again in 2028. Hopefully EIU is added to the 2027 and 2028 schedules.

I'm seriously considering going to Missoula for that game next year...it looks like an amazing FCS football atmosphere in a beautiful part of the country.

I'm highly considering it too and will probably try to drag my dad along 😂. I've been wanting to get up to that part of the country and that seems like a perfect time to do it. If you end up going to the game send me a PM and maybe we can meet up if I make it out there.

Maybe I'll make the trip to Montana. Right now I just want to see a lot of improvement from last year and a win in West Lafayette.
 
13 days. It's getting close. This could be a turning point for Indiana State University. Knocking off an in state big 18 school would give us lots of publicity.

I’d like to see them play respectable, and not have injuries to our key players. Last game, Purdue ran up the score on us. This will be One of a few games Purdue can win this season.

Is that on the betting side, or on the reality side? Because as of right now on the betting side, in the first quarter, its INDIANA STATE 36.5 and PURDUE 0. PURDUE has to beat us by 37 points to win the betting side.
