Is there any way we can get Clink to participate in a monthly Q&A format like Prettyman did?
He's had enough time to get a better impression of what can realistically be done to make some improvements.
We already know about Memorial stadium's new lights and turf plan.

He was asked when he was hired and declined. We can try to reach back out and see if he has changed his mind.

He aint going to be interested... Not gonna happen.

Another agreement with SSOM; starting to get worried?
Think the closest he will get to this forum is bet he damned sure reads it every day. Honeymoon is over with him as far as I am concerned. Hiring Mallory may be his only plum so far & the open job fell in his lap. Remains to be seen if he has any major gonads when changes need to be made.

Maybe SSOM can set up a "Union Hospital-ISU Sports A.D. Consortium," where the docs that give their million$ to ISU athletics can pose "enquiries." :eek:hno:

BTW, does anyone know what happened to ISU SS TYLER FRIIS? He's been missing from the ISU starting lineup now for seven (7) games, just curious if he's injured and the extent of injury, as it impacts Sycamore infield DEPTH. Same situation occurred in 2015, when he & Zahn were hurt, requiring 2B Hannahs to play 1B, Andy DeJesus to SS & Cody Gardner to 2B.

Been wondering that myself? This trip out west was to allow him exposure to his hometown fans and he never saw the lineup. Something must have occurred in the middle of the series at Utah Valley?

For some reason, ISU Baseball has never thought it necessary to report injuries to the media, thus keeping its fan base in suspense. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense why these matters can't be made PUBLIC in the SID series write up's.

Clink is probably too busy looking for an Assistant AD's job in the ACC again.

He knows now NOT to work under a female A.D....wonder how he and "Ms. Lansing" are getting along, given that she was one of the FINALISTS for the ISU A.D. job? Maybe "TH Topix" has a thread...:bigboss:

His response to the question of continuing the thread was a quick no when I approached him about it just before classes started. Jason, I suggest you reach out to Ace if you ISU input on the forum--he might be interested.

I haven't seen anything that he has done

He stood at the entrance to Memorial Stadium during football season and welcomed fans. I've never seen that before. He also took the time to talk to me and listen to me. He hired a new football coach that most people are excited about. We are getting lights at the stadium. I am real excited about that!!!!!!!!
Give the guy a chance and quit badmouthing him. You probably have no idea what he does in his job.

Amen. Sounds like a busy man to me. He had ME at the front gate of Memorial Stadium. (just like Cherie Bradley with the lemonade stand).

Well, for sure, he can only do what he has money to do. It applies to our family, our employer, our local schools, and ISU athletics. The only thing it does not apply to is the federal government.

We'll pass on that but thanks for the suggestion. Most folks at Indiana State want nothing to do with Sycamore Pride. They love to define as us being negative all the time and that's because most of those folks lack skills/insights to be able to take criticism/suggestions, filter out the impossible/outlandish shit and then formulate solutions on how to fix the problems people are fussing about in the first place.

For everyone, like I said, we'll reach out to Clink and if he declines, I'll simply remove the link at the top and we'll drop it.

I can understand them not wanting to take some of our posters seriously. But, to not recognize that those of us on here are some of the most passionate Sycamore fans around and have ideas and thoughts that could make ISU athletics better, is pretty short sighted in my opinion.
