That's disappointing
The question is, will she have any role in hiring his replacement?
Sending him on his way is bad enough, allowing her anywhere near the process of hiring his replacement would be even worse.
Yep.my worry is how this affects Baseball and Basketball. One of the reasons HCJS left LMU was a change in leadership there.

we can only hope. Mission 1 should be how to mitigate any more damage she can do to the school.Well... I think it's pretty easy to assume that the first change in leadership her being gone in 6 months he's just fine with. I can't imagine this is something he's very happy about - to your point.
But if I was the new President based on how well he's run the basketball program thus far he'd probably be my first call and I'd ask him how involved he wanted to be in the process and does he have any recommendations. It would give him the opportunity to help build something bigger than just a basketball program and I think that might be something that he would see value in.
So my mind doesn't immediately jump to "worry" - I could see opportunity in this.
