I've never seen such poor leadership from a president before. Truly incomprehensible that someone in that position doesn't have to answer to ANYTHING and continuesly gets away with it. This SCREAMS Deb all over it. Can't wait to read Clinks memoir or his time here at State and give some details on what goes on in her circle

Really considering bringing a Curtis Sucks sign to game tomo or starting a Curtis sucks chant. I’m so sick of her
I get Clinton vibes from Debster. Not saying you come up missing or anything but maybe your car is scratched up after going into The Bally or something

my worry is how this affects Baseball and Basketball. One of the reasons HCJS left LMU was a change in leadership there.
Of course it will. The athletic department and coaches love Clink. Some didn't even know this was happening an hour before.

Semmlers tweet sharing Clinks statement mentions thanking Dan Bradley and zero mention of lil’ debbie.

That says it all

Per Tribstar

When reached through a social-media message Tuesday afternoon, Clinkscales referred a request for further comment to his agent.

Third-year men's basketball coach Josh Schertz, who was hired by Clinkscales for Schertz's first Division I gig, is thankful for his help.

"I don't know all the details, like all those decisions are made above my pay grade, but what I would say is certainly I'm forever appreciative of Sherard," Schertz said. "He is the one who hired me. He is the one who believed in me and gave me this opportunity. He did everything he said he was going to do in that hiring process. He empowered me every day, he supported me.

"He was a guy that I don't think, outside of our players and staff, there was anyone more invested in the success of our basketball program than Sherard," Schertz added. "I'm certainly going to miss him. He's a friend and I wish him nothing but the best in whatever the next step of his career is.

"I will be waiting to see what his next move is. Sad day for me, but I'm definitely understanding of how these things work."

I don't know what happened with Sherard, but from my miserable years working in the Debster's office, there's no question she has controlled, and will control, everything about the announcement. And since it's a Deb operation, of course it was amateur hour --- posting a news release and then it taking down

Deb prefers to shun journalists, at least the ones who ask real questions. I was present once when she went on an absolutely insane rant on the Trib-Star over perfectly reasonable questions and reporting. She even floated the idea of canceling all of the university's subscriptions to the paper. Deb considers herself above answering questions about a university funded with taxpayer and tuition money.

Be vigilant, ISU. She has six more months to settle scores and wreak havoc.

I do not have twitter or any social media, can someone share Semmlers post on the quote from Clink please

So anyone wanna bet that her row of seats are empty for the Eville Game…. There is no way she shows her face and if she does everyone needs to let her hear about it. If she does show she may be escorted.

Here we go again
AD out
Angie Lansing named intern AD
She will apply for full time job
She will not get the job
Outside person will get job
Is Prettyman still sniffing around Terre Haute
Whoever comes in needs to address the football problem

I like Angie, She is a Sycamore. You won’t find anyone to fill the position with more passion to see ISU get better and succeed than her.
I think Angie Lansing is great
But this is not high school
It’s not next person up
We need a full fledge search committee
If it is the next person up, why isn’t Jon Sherman ever mentioned

It does look like a scorched earth policy is in effect. Keeping JS was going to be hard even with loyalty to Klink. If we give him duel AD plus coaching he would then be in the top 5 of MVC coach pay.
