Todd Franklin at Vincennes University. All he does is win. His record is fantastic. Surprised he doesn't have a coaching job at a bigger school by now.

Here's a thought after seeing Becky Hammond coach the Spurs last night, open the spot to a woman to coach the men's team. Even at a Big program the women's bball coach is highly underpaid. Offer Teri Moren an interview and see if she wants the job. It would draw some eyeballs to the program and would be a hell-load of positive publicity for the Sycamores. She'd do a better job than Sherm Dillard.

Well scratch Teri Moren, she makes way too much money at IU. But the University better interview a woman when they blow Lansing out. It would be some positive press for once. We suck way too much to limit the job search to a bunch of scrub coaches.

Ben McCollum at NW Missouri State would probably be my choice if he would take the job. He turned NWMO around and has two D2 National titles and they are one of the top teams in D2 every year now.

John Becker - Vermont
Lamont Paris - Chattanooga
Steve Alford - Nevada ..... hey why not, maybe he is ready to come back home to Indiana. Should have already made enough $$$ to live comfortably?

Ray McCallum - Tulane Assistant
Scott Sutton - Oklahoma State Assistant
Keno Davis - Central Michigan - HC

If the old rumors are still simmering, look at the Purdue bench.
Also from the PU bench, Brandon Brantley ...... seems to have a knack for developing "Big Men". Sycamores haven't had a coach or an assistant like that since Mel Daniels.

Well, I was a Lansing supporter but see no reason to continue with him. I agree and have noted the lack of improvement after the Sophmore year, a good example is Gant but could name several others. The recruiting of so many guards when we clearly need bigger people is a big issue. Time for the coach to go, we need a new start!

Just food for thought, no current Division I head coaches should be mentioned. None of them would come here and take the pay cut the job would offer.
