ESPN+ is well worth the roughly 10.oo a month to be able to see most ISU games, IMHO. It breaks down to a couple of bucks per game each month at worst, and gives me something to look forward to on a cold weekday evening in Jan and Feb.

Just a FYI, if your wife has Hulu+ or Disney+, your better bet is upgrading to their trio for $15/mo and then ESPN+ only costs $5/mo.

January and February is typically when I buy it. I enjoy watching MVC and OVC games throughout the week nights while I'm stuck at some truck stop. During football and baseball season I'm usually driving while the games are going on, so radio broadcasts are a lot better for me for those sports.

What do you think about BS4, Twitch?

I think he had a VERY underrated career at Indiana State... Dude probably doesn't get enough credit. Was a heck of a scorer. He also had multiple identification cards so you have to give him credit for creativity. But to come in as a Freshman and average over 28 minutes per game and do it your entire career is pretty good.

that era of shoes is equivalent to the Nokia phone. Absolutely indestructible. 2 pounds of clothe and rubber perfectly formed to make you 3 inches taller and 5 mph slower. What a time

Wait... The technology maybe but the overall design and nation wide fascination with shoes and the amount of players with shoe deals and the frequency of releases nothing compares to that. Like, that was actually pretty incredible era for shoes. That's what you mean right? I'm having a hard time reading between the lines. I suppose from a performance standpoint maybe not that great but from a marketing/sales perspective sheer genius.

And I gotta be honest - when Vince Carter came out with the Shox I had to have a pair. Because as a then probably barely 5'2 white kid I needed all the elevation that I could get and I saw what Vince Carter did in those shoes in the dunk contest.

Yep. I loved my Air Penny 1s, Air Max 95s, etc. All were just tanks and could take a beating.

Surprisingly enough, Converse actually made nice (not canvas All-Stars) hoops shoes during the mid90s that were the most cushioned shoe I ever played in.

You Kids! I can say i had the original red and black Jordans when they came out. Wish I had em' now, Originals going for $3500 for a trashed pair and up from there! I was just another 5'2" whiteboy looking to fly!
