Duquesne is keeping DePaul at arms length right now, but DePaul is also shooting it terribly tonight.

Joe Reece is going to be a problem. Remember that name because that dude WORKS the offensive glass and is all elbows and knees.

I wouldn’t expect this to happen, but you wonder if this would work for a game like this: start Kailex in place of Henry. I know this is risk because Henry can catch fire and help set the tone for a big offensive outbreak, but Stephens could really help on the glass and Cam then enters the game with around 15 minutes left in the first with ZERO fouls.
Again, close to zero chance this happens, but it sucks seeing Cam get an early foul trouble and then his game changes on both sides of the ball.

I wouldn’t say zero chance. JS isn’t afraid to mix it up. I’d only say it will not happen because Cam started the game so well vs Southern IL it shows you why starters matter. Every now and again you will find yourself in some dumb debate about starters not mattering… Well they matter when you get off to the start he had vs Southern IL. Or the start Kent had vs Drake. F’ing starters don’t matter… bla bla bla.

Expectations for Coop in the game in terms of minutes? Coming off of a leg injury + adrenaline = either 5/7 from three (fingers crosses) or him getting targeted on drives. Tre might be excited to block shots and go after boards, which might mean a McNight / Availa FT fest once the game gets to the bonus.

That and the fact he leads the team in rebounds per game, assists per game, blocks per game and steals per game while being 2nd in scoring.

Yeah he's been pretty fantastic this year for the most part. He's started to shoot the 3 a little better as of late. He doesn't shoot many of them - but for him to make 1 or 2 a game really makes them have to respect that part of his game as well. For me with him - only two things he needs to really improve on. One gotta stay mentally focused and always check himself on that part of his game. Second he's got to take a little better care of the basketball - his turnover numbers are a little high and have been a problem at times.

I fully expect him to start and think Cam is our best overall player. The fact is though, when he gets early fouls, he’s hardly effective and their size could cause him to do his reaching.

Definitely concerned about the offensive glass in this one. Hopefully we shoot we’ll early and set the tone.

I'm out of town this weekend -- heading to San Diego. Can someone update the thread with game updates as I'll be checking that out and about if I'm not able to watch. Would be much appreciated.

Expecting a win ..... we have a deep talented tough enough bunch to win on the road anywhere when mentally charged for the immediate task at hand. It will be a challenge but tougher challenges will be ahead in the MVC. GOSYCAMORES!
