I’ll admit that I worry about Kent a little in this game. Him transferring from Bradley was not very popular with their fans, and he was booed a lot last year in Peoria. You could tell it bothered him.

I think he’s definitely more mature, assertive, etc. this year so I hope he puts all of that behind him or at least uses it for motivation.

Not trying to be an asshat, but we didn't play in Peoria last year.

I do agree he is a different player this year!! Full of confidence and playing with a purpose.

Oh give him a break for the love… His BAC. Is just normalizing. Small details like this are not important.

Hey, we still won that game 102-67. He can be bothered all he wants if it means we win by more than 30 points in Peoria two years in a row.
what are we even talking about? We didn't play in Peoria last year. And went 0-2 against Bradley last year. And what game did we win 102-67?

I must be remembering Arch Madness then. Maybe in warmups because I don’t think Kent played much in that game.

Despite my hangover, I distinctly remember a lot of booing every time Kent touched the ball.

I asked his parents about it on Tuesday and they said it was a valuable learning experience for him.

I think part of Kent’s success is simply being in the system for another year and maybe the different mix of players he’s with on the floor. I would think Conwell and Swope were both better passes than Voss

May already have been noted, but it appears the ISU vs Bradley game will be on ESPNU
Wish Braves had not lost last night

I didn't realize Bradley's mid-season transfer is getting significant minutes. He is kind of a cluts on defense but he is one of the biggest bodies I can remember in the MVC for a long time. I think he is listed at 7'1" and pretty thick. It's so weird seeing Bradley as they have a huge front line but their 2 guards (deen and Hickman) are both small. Murray was very active with their hands making everything difficult for the Braves and they were rewarded with some turnovers that helped them build their lead. If Avila, Bledson, Kent can't play even with Bradley's front line and no-one gets in foul trouble, I like our chances as our 3 guards should win the battle between their guards.

Maybe I missed it, but was the game going to be on ESPN2 if Bradley had won? I know sometimes MVC games end up on there once in a while.
