Just depends on which shooting squad shows up, no?

If we get the one like IU, it's a win. If we get the one like several other games, it's a loss. If we get the one like we did against Ohio, it's a battle most likely.

Not that their two 7 footers are any good, but it will be our luck that they both have break out games against us.

This game is one my picks for a 10 win season.

It's the morning of the conference opener, I'm thrilled the game is on TV, and I have to wonder...

Will we break .500 in the MVC?
Will this be Devin Thomas' break-out game?
Will JB drop 20+?
Will Scott drop 20+?
Will any other player drop 20+?
Who will prove themselves as the vocal leader on the court?
Of our bench guys, who will play the most minutes?
Who do you consider our sixth man?
What will it take to win this game?
When will ISU get over that 12-win MVC hump?
With a 9-win non-con record, where will Valpo finish in the MVC?
Will Rick Smits attend this game to see his son play?
Can we please just win one, for the Gipper?

...and he majored in Psychology?:laugh: No wonder we dig ourselves a hole early in the game and after halftime. Almost Knute Rockne-like...NOT.

Wonder if GL ever thought that just MAYBE, we don't have the "right coach in the locker room?"

The double teaming of the short corner and post is going to be a problem if no one cuts to the hoop. Long passes are going to start getting intercepted.
 
very good start for us! Not being down double digits at the first media timeout is a HUGE win for us
 
How was that not a goal tend on the Rickman shot at the rim. He put it on the rim and the kid hit it or the backboard or did the TV angle just look bad?

Put this in the archive...we have mixed defenses and played the hot hand so far..played Davis the first 9 mins! And Barnes probably played the first 7..things I'd like to see more of
 
Weird lineup and we've gone stagnant. They're playing hard, but the pieces just don't work it looks like.

It's Barnes, Scott, Hughes, Deady and Murph. Ball movement is off it feels like.
