Great effort, we're going to be ok in MVC play, and like others said, on a neutral court that is a different ball game.
I think we played tough, I really liked what I saw. This could be one of the best teams since 79. They took Robbie out of the game early, if you don’t think the zebras knew who he was and needed to get quick fouls on him then you are very very confused.

Robbie also made a couple dumb fouls.

Yes he did, but the two cheap fouls were game changing. Everyone is going to have a bad foul or two but when you do and have two blown calls it makes a difference. I am not blaming the refs for the loss, we could not hit shots towards the end and they did. But it did change the pace and game plan 100%

Tough loss… Hopefully something we can build off of period. It was a great experience being at the game. We were right there until three minutes left where we couldn’t get a shot afterwards.

Robbie did have 2 mind numbing “ghost calls” against him that is for sure. However, he was a couple steps slow which led to easy buckets or cheap fouls on numerous occasions.

Loved Bledson’s minutes today. He was probably 2 bad rolls away from blowing that lead open for us.

We are lucky to have Aaron Gray today. Him coming in with Kent and Avila in foul trouble made me feel comfortable going forward into conference play. Vorst struggled in his minutes but that’s a huge ask for a true Freshman.

Conwell and Swope are killers I’d just like to see 2 complete halves from them consistently.

Larry and Kent didn’t have their best games today but that will happen in physical matchups. Hall and Walker were tough matchups for them.

We were outta gas the last five minutes and for some reason Swope stood in the corner and watched part of that time. Still a pretty good performance on the road.
Their defense was better than any we'll see in conference and they definitely took away some of the easy baskets we get against less athletic teams. Watch out MVC we are the team to beat!

As much as it hurts to take any loss, I’m feeling pretty good. Our 2 losses are true road games against legit high major programs. I would have liked to see us get a quad 1 signature win of course. I think if we sweep Drake we should be fine. On to Evansville!

Like I said before, we got a lot of good publicity today. Can't hurt if we continue to play well.

Good experience that hopefully helps us down the road. To be ahead halfway through the second half with Robbie not playing well and Ju not a factor on the offensive end, tells us a lot about the team. Now the real season starts on Wednesday. If we want to win the conference, that is a must win.

The guys are not going to have a perfect game on both ends every game. Whether it’s the offensive or defensive end. I have faith that Robbie, Ju and the rest of the guys will be fine going forward. This is basketball we have some that scores more than others and we have some that plays defensive more than other. This is why this team plays well together. #TeamWork😁

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Indiana State saw its 10-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday afternoon as the Sycamores fell in a tough test at Michigan State, 87-75, inside the Breslin Center.

MY observations: we were actually ahead at the 10:08 mark 64-59. MY greatest fear when u play Michigan State, and it came true, their REBOUNDING, also Robbie only played I believe 15 minutes or so. Our little guard shot the lights out from 3 and getting 28 points. Put this game on a neutral court or at home, we win!!! The announcers did a great job.
First half we might have been initimated a bit from the crowd of 14,000, after commiting 12 turnovers.
Larry made a fantastic defensive play, when he broke up a breakaway and catching the ball in the air. team played hard, very hard, nothing to be ashamed about. It showed, we definitely lack depth when Robbie got into early foul trouble
Anyway bottom line, we can play with anybody on any given night. This is absolutely a special ISU basketball team. probably the best since 79.
Coach is building a program, when I watch the Sycamores play I see a bit of Gonzaga, when they move the ball around.
Its a long season to get a bid into the NCAA win the MVC title and the Sun afternoon game.

Man… I’m emotionally spent. Just about an hour away from Terre Haute. Just having a hard time coming up with words.

Like that’s the environment you dream of playing/cheering on your team in, you could feel the intensity, so much on the line for really both teams MSU can’t afford another non P5 loss at home no matter our metrics - InState can’t afford to lose ever in general it’s a stacked deck. It was just a heck of a battle - thought Michigan State deserved a ton of credit for the level they played at. Thought they were really good on the glass and took Avila completely away from us. Swope and Bledson were really good - Bledson missed some big shots but he competed his ass off.

I could keep going… Just really disappointed in the final - I thought we would win. I still think we’re one of the top 25 teams in the country it’s just going to take a long time to prove it now. Time will tell I guess. I had fun just wish it was a different outcome.
