I watch to hope he gets best. Colorado is selling out for sure. I don’t have any animosity towards them because I’m envious we can’t play that game.
Everyone is watching hoping they will lose like Floyd Mayweather is talking shit all the way to the bank.

How ND ever lost to this Stanford team… good god. I think I lost damn near a grand that night live betting ND to come back and win that game.

Yupppp! Let him get a few more dudes and it will be dangerous. They got too many big time football people around that program not to be really good. Hunter is nasty.

I actually was just looking at their recruits to see how it was going for him. On D, he is basically hanging out in Georgia and going after SEC speed. Noticed he got a kid from Calabasas that was committed to USC to flip who looks like he is going to be a gamebreaker, too.

Room service they said… Prime has done unbelievable work for this program. Just absolutely changed the outlook and trajectory in no time. Wild

Yep. That is the overarching point that is being missed. Rebuilds usually take a couple years and he was able to go from the cellar to top quarter of the division in a couple months. That's insane.

If people don't like the swag and flexing now, they're going to go apeshit once it's really built and all 85 dudes are dogs. This feels a lot like the late 80's Miami program under Jimmie Johnson.

Mmmmm what a great take…

What’s most interesting about Sanders is that almost all of his former teammates and reporters who covered him back in his playing days will tell you how good of a teammate he was and how good of a person he was.

Not much of an ego in the locker room. But once the lights came on he took on a whole different persona.

This is a quote from hall of fame writer Hal McCoy, who has covered the Reds since the beginning of time it seems.

“As a person, he was fantastic and, in the clubhouse, he displayed none of that Prime Time schtick. When he left the Reds, he said the media in Cincinnati treated him the best of any media he had dealt with. My guess is he’d like to have us covering him now.”

That last part is key… Dog. People struggle with that. A lot of guys - really good athletes can show up when the lights aren’t on, they show up in practice, they show up in low key matchups - but when it’s time to show up and show out they’re gone! Not dogs.

How many mediocre 4-2 teams get this ongoing media coverage? How many undefeated top teams get this coverage? He’s nailing it with potential top recruits. They are watching.

Deion: "Un fucking believable….. Good Game Stanford. Life lessons, you can’t ever get too comfortable. But gone and let us have it.. we deserve that shit".

It’s his first season. Winning wasn’t the biggest goal. Establishing the norms of the program, the expectations etc. as well as building the brand and making kids want to be a part of it, those are the goals. And in those areas he is undefeated.

This was shared by espn during the game last night.

“Prior to Sanders being hired, 268,000 followers of the program on social media. Now, 2.18 million.

Out of state applications to the university are up 41%

$28,000,000 in donations to the athletic department (not just the football program) since the end of last season.

Each home game now brings in an estimated $18,000,000 to the Boulder economy.”

‘NUFF SAID

Wow… Can’t believe that. I went to bed at halftime. Holy hell - they way Col dominated that first half this is hard to believe.

Lots of stupid penalties in the second half that let Stanford drives continue and you can tell they just thought the 2nd half was going to be a cakewalk like the first. By the time they got it turned back on, Stanford's QB was rolling.

Actually was a fun game to watch. Ain't no Sycamore football, but...

It's interesting. This thread had died but you kept bumping it so it renewed my interest to go check in.

Maybe he should be 0-5 like us in the 37th year of the rebuild, eh?
