At the end of the day super duper SR Gibson coulda pretty much put this on ice. Didn’t happen. So now you gotta just hope for the best and see what you can do in STL.

I will say this… While we’ve been a good team and I’ve enjoyed the hell out of this year. We have been absolute dick in close games. Again. Just a rough outcome.

Here comes the old man to harp on FT's...gotta be better at them...we shot a bunch, and weren't awful, but gotta have that 1-1 at the end especially.

But we should fully understand now that we're capable of beating anyone in the MVC next week if we clean up a few things.

We lost because of bad defense in the 2nd half. That's it. There were numerous times we didn't close out, they got multiple ORs they shouldn't have and drove right past guys. That's on the dudes for not locking in the same way.

Inconsistent horseshit refs… 4 team fouls up until 2:30 in the 2nd. The last call on Kent was especially atrocious.

Could easily make the argument that this is the same mentally weak a$$ team that lost 5 straight based on this 2nd half or you could chalk it up to missing our best all around player and the other team at home taking it from us when they desperately needed it...sadly, i'm leaning towards the former. We didn't beat anyone of note during that stretch, so it's on them to prove the narrative wrong in STL likely starting on Thursday

We shoulda fully understood before tonight… But yes. We will be okay. Play like that on O and you will be okay. This teams issues are and always have been defensive and winning the big game.

That’s a game you’ve got close out. But they win on free throws without Cam Henry. With him they probably are never in that game. Congrats hopefully we see them again. They absolutely can’t play with us.

we've horrible in close games this year. The only win we have that came down the final seconds if home vs Drake. @SIU was a 3 point win but SIU hit two 3s the final seconds to make it look much closer.

I just hope we are saving up our wins for St. Louis because we are about 1-7 this year in those situations
