Was a fun game to watch if you're on the winning side. You just gotta play better defense than that in the second half.
I thought it looked like a foul. I thought for a second their guy stepped out of bounds.

I’d have rather have won… obviously but I’m fine with it. You thought Belmont was just going to lay over for a 17 point ass beating. I think we probably came out of the locker room with a false sense of security but locked back in rather quickly. I mean Belmont has as much to lose or gain as we do - they are at home and we without one of our best players. It’s fine. We will be okay.

I gotta tell you, all of the sudden this expansion to 12 teams doesn't look so good. We may end up 14-6 and have to play on Thursday.

Not really… I think he ices Avila a lot who had like 14 in the first half I think. Then he locked him on the bench in the second.
I think he tends to overlook defense in general. That said he did bench Voss for a good portion of the second half for poor D.
But no. I don’t have an issue.

The bigger thing here is we're almost a lock to play Belmont on Friday in Game 6.
Either they or us will be playing Evansville on Thursday. Right now, I don't see UNI beating them Sunday so looks like we play Evansville on Thursday.
So will be interesting to see the difference a (hopefully healthy) and available Cam makes.

He said on the radio he had to take Robbie out when they went to five guards. Why can’t we keep him in and take advantage of the mismatch? We need to dictate what other teams do instead of the opposite.

Extremely disappointed with trying to close out a 17 point half time lead. Love JS, but why wasn’t Robbie in the game for the last 4 so minutes?? Neese can’t guard anyone; they either drive around him for a layup or he give up a 3 without a hand in their face. Most I’ve been excited about ISU basketball in so long, but man this loss sucks!! Let’s regroup and win in STL!!

He’s wrong on that. He’s been wrong on it before this season. I don’t get it when he moves away from him especially after that big first half. It’s okay… He’s learning too at this level.
