Tell me why they would give a shit about the little guy. WHY? How would FCS schools disappearing impact them? They've already obliterated the traditional conferences at the P-5 level, which it can be argued did more to "ruin college football" than the failure of small schools most people don't know or care exist, so why would they care in the least if Indiana State football exists? We're not even competitive enough for the better schools to bother playing us.

This program is like a cardiac arrest you can keep pounding on the chest and pumping drugs aka money into it, but it still is a flatline and no amount of money or changing coaches will bring it back. So sometimes it's just best to call time of death!
Most Power 5's schedule FCS schools because we're cheaper to bring in than MAC, Sun Belt, and CUSA schools. We're also viewed as an easier win, and an FCS win counts towards bowl eligibility. Both are the reasons for why the Big 10 removed their FCS ban a few years ago.
