Your arguments are about trying over and over using words like demonstration effect to constantly tell us that ISU is losing money in football. Well No Shit? Every FCS football team loses money. You guys can describe it any way you want to. We all know it!Now do those that don’t have football at all.

Then, since we all agree EVERY FCS team loses money, can you stop trying to convince us that ISU is losing money in football. There
There is absolutely no doubt that this is true, and it's very much the key point. Any business with a division that underperformed that badly would be looking to spin it off or wind it down. This issue isn't unique to Terre Haute by any stretch. Programs below the "Superconference" level are staring down at a reckoning. The amazing thing to me is that it's taken this long to get there.

Interesting the category “Where The Money Comes From”Don't worry, I found it. I wanted to see if it had a data set for non-football having schools. It didn't.

Agreed! That’s been talked about for years. Until (and they eventually will) The University pulls the trigger to cancel football, why can’t the chatter stop? You guys have to come up with several very thought out reasons since we are losing money, and our team is bad, that canceled the program is the only solution.I don't believe I've even addressed that particular issue since it goes without saying. The point is that the college sports landscape is undergoing a sea change and changes in financial circumstances are going to force a lot of non-Power schools to re-evaluate their athletic programs. Like I've already said, this goes way beyond just the failed football program we have at ISU. A lot of other schools are going to be asking the same questions and making the same choices.
I don't know about needing several thought-out reasons. It's pretty simple. They suck, have for a longtime, and are going to continue to suck.Agreed! That’s been talked about for years. You ROI guys probably wouldn’t say as much if we were winning. So, if you can’t stand watching, then don’t. ISU Loses money in football!! Agreed!
You ROI guys even if we won, would shit all over us because we should have beaten Murray. You so called Sycamore “Die Hearts” are Despicable.I don't know about needing several thought-out reasons. It's pretty simple. They suck, have for a longtime, and are going to continue to suck.
I'm not disagreeing necessarily, but if everyone is going to have to eventually make tough decisions on football then why should we rush to be the first ones? I'd like to see how things play out before we just bow out completely. If the power conference schools ever break off from the NCAA I seriously doubt there would be an FBS-FCS split anymore. We'd also likely see massive realignment that would favor geography once again since the TV money likely wouldn't be there anymore.I don't believe I've even addressed that particular issue since it goes without saying. What's despicable is insisting on having a football team just because. That's literally the only argument those of you wanting to keep the program are making. And to be very clear, I was a diehard fan of this program from about 2007-2014 (can go back and read the old threads if you want proof). I was there in the stands cheering like mad when we beat WIU to end the nation's longest losing streak. I was there when Shakir Bell had his first breakout game. I was there on the road for games at NIU, IL St., UNI, WIU (twice - once for an ass kicking in the rain), Purdue and IU. I had more heart in it than many in the university's administration ever had. At some point though, you have to recognize the university just doesn't give a shit about the football program, literally couldn't care in the least about fielding a competitive team (as evidenced by several decades now of not trying) and put it out of its misery. You ROI guys even if we won, would shit all over us because we should have beaten Murray. You so called Sycamore “Die Hearts” are Despicable.
