Fudōtokuna: $chertz to $LU

WANTED: Passionate Sycamore Fanatics. That You?

Register NOW to join our community of die-hard Sycamore fans.

Every coach and player will be viewed from a cold and calculated place from now on. No emotional attachment required from any fan. We can root for them knowing that no loyalty is expected from any party involved. Just like any other business transaction only cash is expected to change hands. No disappointment as long as we remember the rules.

I think it is unwise for any coach, player, or family member to view team related social media. At some point something not to your liking WILL be posted.

That isn't unique to them. The whole point of open discussion is people will/may have differing viewpoints. I shake my head at stuff that gets posted just like people likely do the same with some of my opinions.

Can someone find out our final offer details to JS? And not from someone who has one foot out the door.

This is why I have been so cold on NIL (not looking for a debate, we all have our views on this). Hard for me to want to give my money to someone that will just leave. Perhaps if Julian Larry comes back, as a Thank You I'll try to get a signed jersey that I can hang on my wall, as long as I know he'll get 100% of the money.

Ppl named Jason are only capable of well thought out, emotionless opinions.

Hopefully we get a coach quickly and we land Sincere Harris from Illinois. He’ll hit the portal next week. He’s a defensive BEAST!

That would actually require us to sell NIL jerseys. Or jerseys in general.

But agreed, I'm right there with you. Any of the starters really.
Makes zero sense that we don't have an NIL store that sells jerseys and stuff. I think you'd get even more interest than there is now in donating towards NIL if they did that. Right now it's like "Donate towards NIL and maybe you'll win something in a drawing".

Can you imagine playing a reverse card on Schertz and directing all the money ISU raised for him and throwing it into NIL and retaining the starting 5? Lordy that would something
That would be awesome, but the reality is, DJ Burns picked up 500k in endorsements just by winning a couple of NCAA games. Those should have been Robbie’s endorsements

Yeah completely spot on.

I hate beating a dead horse, but with Semmler's latest Tweet mentioning that a large part of Scherz's decision to leave was having $1 million more in NIL at SLU, we can't afford to be missing out on the easy ways to make money.

And for the record, this isn't just aimed at CoC. The University has been absolutely pathetic about supporting and promoting the NIL fund.
