Talked about how he had the top offensive and defensive team in the MVC, how cohesive this group was and how much they cared about each other, used “we” a couple dozen times, and implied that “we” would continue that at SLU.
Maybe off topic but haven't we moved past the point where the coaches shouldn't be the ones making the schedules? It should be up to the conferences to work out. Like Drake played @Nevada and Bradley @ Utah State - both should get home games against MW opponents in 2025. We played @Alabama and @Michigan State - we should get home games against an SEC and B1G opponent next season (ha).
It should be the job of the MVC to set agreements like "every MVC team will play two MAC teams at home and two on the road". It should not be our coaches job to get IUPUI or Ball State on the phone every year.

At this point talent = fit to me.
I think he said, I’m heading to the Lou and I’m bringing luggage with me and it’s Louie. Not exactly sure but it was close.
Painful but I watched it while holding my nose. To me it was the same well rehearsed sales pitch seen many times before. He has a likable way of speaking as we well know. Very self deferential but confident. Most good salesmen have this talent. I didn't really hear any promises about players only the generic we,team, group phrases that all coaches use. Just my opinion. And with that I'm done with the guy. No more, thank you.

I think most sycamore backers woul think so.
Maybe because they are on athletic s scholarship....when the rest are paying their tuition.....there is a difference between the college athlete and the run of the mill college student.
All I'm saying is...if the NCAA wants to maintain some sort of competitive balance in college athletics and at the same time let them be psid...the only way to do that is limiting player mobility.
I think the allowance for one tranfer without sitting out a year creates that.

Just because he says something doesn't mean that's what he did. I would have a lot more respect for him, if he came out and admitted he handled this situation wrong. Instead it's all gumdrops and rainbows from him.

So is it safe to say Graves, Furr, and Antone Gray and not going with him?????? If so are those three enough to salvage anyone besides Aaron Gray?
I think someone said Antone Gray was at his $LU press conference today. Think it's safe to assume he's no longer with ISU.
Gray was in STL today.
Right now it looks like Graves and Furr are piloting the ship. In order to recruit, you have to pass a test with the NCAA so it isn't like they can use any of the other folks that I'm aware of.
