Tend to agree with the second quote on there...

Unfortunately, I do too... even though I CAN'T STAND "sagging".

from a guy that was on the plane said:
“When I get on a plane and see a 13-year-old girl with her whale tail”—exposed G-string underwear—”and fat old white guys with plumber’s crack sitting down, and middle-aged ladies in halter tops and tons of cleavage—if you’re not going to kick those people off the plane or ask them to cover up, then let’s admit the hypocrisy.”

I think the consequences were more associated with the low rider's ATTITUDE than anything else...

As far as middle-aged ladies flashing cleavage in halter tops, what's wrong with that?
Geesh...what's this world coming to?

The consequences only happened because someone took offense to him exposing his boxers by having his shorts too low. He was asked to leave the airplane because it allegedly violated US Airways' "dress code" (searching the US Airways website and Contract of Carriage reveals no such dress code except for something called AD75 booking) but the hypocrisy comes from the fact that he was asked to leave, but cleavage (which exposes much more flesh but is "sexy" and not "a menacing black man"?) is acceptable, middle-aged white guys showing "plumber's crack" is acceptable, and so on. The hypocrisy is why people are taking issue with this.

"sexy" is in the eye of the beholder...

Absolutely agree on the hypocrisy point.
