I've seen it and other than the fact the guy that runs it is an open IU fan and has jumped on every other bandwagon of success in the state of Indiana, oh yeah forgot to mention he doesn't have any information about the most winningist programs cross country and track.

Yeah I won't be visiting that site anytime soon.

Ditto. Couldn't read anything and tried to sign up. He is trying to charge people for access.
 
I had this guy as a principal in high-school. Is as crooked as they come. A used car salesman in every aspect. Maybe SycamoresNOW.com will turn into something. But likely it's just a hit and run money grab. He knows next to nothing about ISU. I've called him out on every inaccuracy he tweets, and all to know response. Its really a slap in the face. The guy didn't know Nate Green was all-MVC. Ahhh, but who cares.

Amazing how this just kinda came about. If I tweeted anymore I would have already had it out with him - I only read tweets for that very reason.
 
Glad I saw all these posts first, if I had stumbled upon it on my own, I would have created an account.

The Nate Green All-MVC thing...that's just terrible.

The guy that runs the site is Kent Dunning - here is a screen shot of his Facebook page - I'd say he likes IU more than the Sycamores.

I would urge you to contact this guy @ [email protected] and ask him why he is such a diehard IU fan and ask him why he is trying to charge people for these stories - just trying to make a buck or what dude. I aint giving a dime to an IU fan. Not now, not tomorrow,
not next week - not never!

Maybe he has never visited Sycamore pride?? But I doubt that! So the way I see it people go to 1 of 3 places for Sycamore Athletics information. They either go to gosycamores.com, Sycamorepride.com or Or Twitter. Not much of a market For Indiana State athletic information. Not to mention I'm pretty sure he has not been given permission by Indiana State To be interviewing future recruits And current athletes. And covering practices
And being an IU fan .doing all that

But I'm happy he's been exposed

And you know what's funny this is such a small town in small University by national standards that if you want to know something about Indiana State All you got to do is ask a couple people close to the program and you can probably come pretty damn close to finding out the truth Regardless of the subject matter. It doesn't take a whole lot to be "insider" at Indiana State.

Yeah it's pretty easy to be an insider. I still have the ADs cell phone number for when I got my TS clearance so it's not exactly hard.

Plus to be perfectly honest, you honestly just don't have that many people trying to be in the known about Indiana State Athletics. If you go to like Notre Dame or hell my all time favorite school from Gloomington Indiana everyone is trying to be on the inside. Point being, if you want to talk Indiana State athletics with people close to the program(s) they are more than happy to give you an inside look because they view it as promotion (positive or negative) of the programs... So they offer up about anything and everything within reason - they will let you in the front door if you want in.

Well if SycamoresNow is going to plug SycamorePride like that well I just find that interesting! Lol He did kinda call that signing ahead of time.
 
If he truly is dedicated to ISU sports, we can always use more resources. Despite calling us the kiddie table, I did like what Ong Hop was doing with his Sycamore Nation website but it looks like it hasn't been updated since 2011. Hopefully this guy doesn't start out gangbusters and then just go silent, especially since he'll be doing it for the love of Sycamore athletics.

I think the "China Man" is primarily a photographer (business in Brazil, IN?), thus using the website to help market his product(s). He does a nice job with a variety of angles to viewing sport.
