We need to get a new coach ASAP, or the next few years, will be in the cellar of the MVC. Have to keep the core together, Jake, Williams, Coop, Larry,
For many of the players its a tense time, and the way this is being handled, dual press conference.

Usually when u r hiring new coach thats when u have a dual press conference.

Why has no one talked about his new wife? I am sure this has a lot to do with any move he makes or made. To think all the drama means nothing? I admit I don't know a ton of the situation but who wants to work with or report to their Ex Wife outside of the kids? New wife is a smoke show and I am sure is just so very upset on leaving the Haute.

A new coach doesn't mean we won't be in the MVC cellar...

Go review ISU's MVC finish from 1982-1997... here's a hint, only 2 Top 5 (T-4th) berths in 15 seasons

The ADs split the sports up. I do not believe Angie is over men's basketball, I believe that is Clink's domain. So probably a non-issue.

Secondly, his new wife works in Scottsdale. I saw someone post a congrats on social media for a new role she just landed. Again, a non-issue unless Greg is looking for a job closer to her.
 
Just watched the press conference and paid close attention to Lansing. He was pretty much poker face but about the 8:20 mark he makes an interesting expression as Clink is talking. Anybody else notice this and what do you make of it?

Larry, where's he going, UTEP campus at Evansville?

Laravia peaked as a Freshman, and where's he going Memphis, Houston, Xavier? Tell us. The game the Laravia plays today, is the same game that he will play as a Senior. You've seen all of his upside. Don't get me wrong....I like what he does for ISU, but where's going to go and play?

Williams would be a big loss, but where's he going for two more years at his odd size?

I'm not quite sure what to say about this. Laravia and Williams are only the best big men we've had in decades.
 
Call me crazy but why wouldn’t he accept the one year extension? Build the momentum, finish top 2 next year with the talent you have
