Kylie Hutson was again named Women's Field athlete of the week for her school record pole vault at IU. ISU's men and women should place in the top 3 in this meet, UNI is tough as always.

ISU has been picked to finish 2nd in both pre-championship coaches polls. UNI is the favorite on both sides.

final MVC results

ISU men finish in 4th place, women in 5th, the women lost key points when Erica Moore did not finish the women's 400 meter hurdles (not sure why?) and she didn't run the 4 * 400 meter relay either, so she must have been injured?

Kylie Hutson set an all-time MVC and ISU record in the pole vault, clearing 14' 01.25" and was named co-women's most outstanding athlete of the meet.

The men lacked points in the field events, thus hampering their efforts to place higher, that should be remedied next season by some of the recruits coming in.

apparently Erica was pretty tired after the 400 and then fell during the 400 hurdle race and hurt herself, she didn't run the mile relay then. Not sure on Jeanne yet though.

What are in the nature of the injuries to Erica Moore and Jeanne Middleton?
