I think that when you're up by 30, there's no need to shoot anymore threes. But, still loving what I'm seeing.

Personally, I want these guys to take the knife out and then stick it back in again. They need to learn how to really put an opponent down. Killer instinct and all, 'ya know...

Whoda thunk it???

well, in other mvc action, SIU is killing MSU, WSU is up on UNI and Ill. St. is up on Bradley.

be nice to see MSU beat SIU so ISU can be tied with only CU for 3rd.

hey, we're actually outrebounding our opponent for a change too! woo hooo!

UNI up on WSU by 2

ISU red up on BU by 2

SIU up on MSU by 6

geesh, I'm glad that's over, UE really has some work to do.

3rd place in the MVC at 5-3, the next game at ISU red is gonna be tough, let's hope we don't see the usual ISU blue road team show up now!

Even Carter had a blocked shot tonight, 72-42 final.

UNI, SIU, and Ill. St. winning the other games at the moment. MSU has come back to within 1 on SIU too.

Just got back from the game -- Lamar Lee wasn't even on the bench. Anyone know what's up with him?
Also, looked like Arnold got hurt at the end of the first half -- any word on him?
As I was at the game, I didn't get to hear the radio broadcast, so I'm wondering if they addressed either of those questions...
Good win for the Sycamores -- a much-needed shot of confidence that we can take care of business. Now let's get one on the road...
cheers!

I listened on the radio and never heard any mention of either of those topics. I sure hope Adam is ok. Probably didn't need to have him play in the 2nd half anyway.

Watching that game though made me think that Gateway FB teams probably feel the same way when they're watching their teams wallop ISU. Very sad....

attendance 4573

in other mvc action:

MSU over SIU
UNI over WSU
Bradley over Illinois State by 1, man ISU blue had better be ready Sunday!! they're gonna be mad after losing to Bradley.

Lamar Lee

According to a key member of the coaching staff, Lamar Lee's grandmother had a serious heart attack so he went to be with her. He did miss the Creighton game with a high ankle sprain so he probably is not 100% anyway.

thanks for the info on Lamar Lee SS, I hope his grandmother is doing ok.

Nice to see we swept a Valley opponent for a change. I just wish we could play this well on the road against teams other than Evansville.
