We’re getting a lot of love around CBB Twitter, yeah we could’ve played better but Belmont is damn good and we had a chance to have an exact repeat of the last game and it didn’t happen. For every shot Neese hit in the second half, Belmont matched it.

Yes. I mean I’m beyond thrilled we won. I just don’t know how much more we got left in us after that. And watching it was agonizing. The defense was horrendous - I’m pretty disappointed with Voss so far on both sides of the floor honestly.
What about Larry? I don’t know if he knew a game was going on half the time.

We really need him lockdown their guards tomorrow.

Wow, I was on the road and had to follow on gamecast. I've heard nothing but how much fun it was to watch, especially from an outsider. Yes, we couldn't get stops. But, neither could they. Let's get 2 more!

^this is total bullshit. Larry worked his ass off on D all day. I was sitting center court 10 rows up and saw how damn hard he played. Sometimes you have to give some credit to the opposing player. Larry took on the their best player all game long.
Wasn’t talking about the entire game or specifically about defense. There were several moments where he didn’t look like the locked in Larry we need and he looked gassed. In fact, coach yanked him…
And, yes, there were a few defensive plays early on where he was no where near his man.

Chill on the bullshit…I’m a big Larry fan, but we aren’t beating Bradley tomorrow if he makes those plays. There is so little margin for error tomorrow.

You know, with Cooper’s unconscious shooting display today, it was easy to overlook Cam Henry’s elite stat line - 25 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds.

When was the last time we saw TWO of our players have such incredible games on the same night?

I’m so thankful I was here to see it!

Now let’s do it again!!!

Terrible. You’re not wrong. Expectations for him are higher than what he delivered today. It’s a win or go home situation has to be better.

Defense was decent. I wouldn’t call it elite. I will riddle it to you all like this.

Cam and Larry probably two of the better defensive players in the conference. If you ask them they would agree. So 2 of the 5 on the floor believe they are all Mo Val D players. We allowed Belmont once again to score at will.

They can’t guard everyone. But fundamentally a lot has to change for JS on that side of the ball. I’ve correctly pointed out his struggles and lack of attention to D. It was a problem all game long. Luckily Cooper, Cam and Bledson in that order bailed us out.

If you write what you really mean, then it won’t be misunderstood.
Dude I have no idea why you’re upset. I wrote that half the time he did t know there was a game being played. Is half the game drastic? Sure, but he had some complete let downs on defense and some bonehead plays on O.

I have no idea why you’re getting defensive. I’m thrilled with todays game and was pointing out something that needs buttoned up for us to win tomorrow…

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – More Missouri Valley Conference Tournament records fell for the No. 5 Indiana State Sycamores Friday night as they defeated No. 4 Belmont 94-91 in the Arch Madness Quarterfinals inside Enterprise Center. Cooper Neese set the individual single game record for 3-pointers in an MVC Tournament game while the Sycamores set a team record for the same thing to help Indiana State advance to the semifinals.
