MVC In the Bracket Buster

As best as I can find it appears that the MVC went 7-2 in Bracket Buster competition yesterday . With Northern Iowa and SIU being the two losing teams. I could not find anything on Ill State playing . Did they chose to stay our of the Bracket Buster the way we did a couple of years ago?
7-2 is not a bad record for a league that was suppose to be down this year .

Good showing for the conference, I guess. What conference are Niagara and Siena in? They both have really good records, but that's against some pretty weak competition.

How the MVC has fallen in the last 3 years. The days of us getting 4 or 5 teams in the dance are long gone. I mean I can remember talk of the MVC being mentioned among the conf. that are no mid majors anymore.

How many teams will the MVC get in the big dance this year?

As long as Creighton wins the MVC regular season and makes it to the Semis of Arch Madness then they should be a lock. In that case the MVC will get 2 teams. Creighton and the winner of the MVC tourney. However if Creighton wins both then obviously the MVC only gets 1 team. And that my friends will be a sad sad day for the Mo Val!
