Wichita State was down by one at home to William and Mary....I'm sure the Shockers will win big in the end, but surprised by that halftime score.

if im not mistaken they only hold like 5000 people. Smaller arenas make it seem more crowded. That's why down the road when we think about building an arena we should look into cutting our capacity down to 7000 or 8000.

Are you suggesting we move the games back to the arena or south high?

Only you would find a way to look at the negative of a 49 point offensive half, Bank! :cheeky:

Well, let's look at it this way...Lansing purposely called ONE T.O. to setup a shot. Odum then got trapped and called a 2nd. Then you saw the final outcome. Whatever was planned didn't work. These type games are when a squad can work on these things w/o damage. But you obviously don't understand the concept.

Jake has games once in a great while where he would be better off riding the bench. This is one of those games. He has that overly frustrated look about him and he has hurt more than helped in the first half. And when in the hell are they going to stop letting him have the ball at the end of the half or at the end of a game, especially when he plays like he is tonight?

I kind of like the smaller lineup. We didn't give up anything on the boards and it allowed us to spread the floor more and get the ball in the hands of our shooters with open looks.

Against less athletic teams that are not overly big (Belmont) this formula can work for us. Against teams with serious height and athleticism it might not work quite as well. I agree though if Moore or Bell struggle this year you could see a lot of smaller lineups

I don't see Hulman Center going anywhere, but with attendance numbers trending down it may not be a bad idea. Gonzaga sits 6000 and it's a site to see when it's full. Money could be spent elsewhere like lighting and sound system.

I'm amazed that we took 2 TO's in the last 50 sec and had Odum taking a last sec 23'er...not efficient.

How many yrs has it been since ISU had this many points in the 1st half?

Several of us were thinking the same thing....49 points in a half, in a Lansing offense...Wow!
