WANTED: Passionate Sycamore Fanatics. That You?

Register NOW to join our community of die-hard Sycamore fans.

When the article about tickets came out it listed the three sections for Indiana state and I got three tickets in one of the sections. I’m in section 12. Don’t remember if the other ISU sections were 11-13 or 12-14 or what. Just know that 12 was listed as one of them.
Did you buy through Ticketmaster or ticket office?

According to the NAIA website NCAA D2 and NCAA D3 schools on average spend 70% more on athletics than NAIA schools. NAIA schools do offer athletic scholarships though, so on a comparison to NCAA divisions, I would consider them maybe the equivalent of Division 2.5.

There are also NCCAA schools. They are divided into D1 (scholarships) and D2 (non-scholarships). Then there's the NCJAA which is divided into 3 divisions. D1 and D2 have scholarships while D3 doesn't, just like the NCAA.

Basically this is how I think the different divisions across the various associations would rank competitively. ISU should never play anyone lower than D2.

NCAA D1
NCAA D2
NAIA
NCCAA D1
NCAA D3
NJCAA D1
NJCAA D2
NCCAA D2
NJCAA D3

I will say that if Rose Hulman and St Mary of the Woods ever played each other that would probably be a somewhat entertaining matchup. Once you get below D2 the differences in the various levels is pretty minimal.
Rose is a solid D-III program, but the difference in talent is pretty wide between them and SMWC, which has several guys that were recruited to the D-1 level (ISU, Cal), in addition to some guys who played D-2.

Confirmed games on National TV, so far…

FS1 12/30 @Michigan State
ESPNU or ESPN2 1/21 @Murray State

It’s late and I’m too tired to scroll this entire thread looking to see if someone posted this already or not.

Has the exhibition game been scheduled or announced yet? Anyone have any info on that?
