Spencer and Watkins out indefinitely

I think I saw on twitter that Spencer posted he won't be playing yet this weekend. Disappointing. I sure hope that whatever it is those 2 did that they learned a good lesson and will be model students from here on out.

From what I understand, their team mates are giving them the business, and calling them out pretty good for screwing up....the coach and staff yelling at you and suspending you is one thing...but when your equals call you out...ouch.

totally agree here, when your teammates are calling you out then that's usually a sign that you've messed up, but they care about you enough and want you back contributing. Hopefully these two are back by the time the YSU game rolls around.

I think they will both be fine. Kids will be kids, and sometimes a parental (coaching) plus sibling (player) reminder works wonders. I still hopeful that they are the key contributors that the coaches believed they would be when they brought them here.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound sophomore was making plays for ISU quarterbacks during Wednesday’s practice. He’ll be among five to six wide recievers to see action against Butler, Miles said.
