Did anyone see where the GOAT Lebron James led Team USA to a huge 1 point victory over South Sudan? I'm totally convinced that this team is better than the Dream Team. Probably the best team we've ever had as a country.

Individual players...maybe, but not even CLOSE as a "team." I wish the USA would revert back to "college-only" eligibility, where you'd see HEART in performance.

I was joking about the "best team ever" stuff. Basketball is the one sport in the Olympics where I pretty much never root for the so called team that's representing the USA. It's too bad South Sudan didn't pull off the upset.

They don't have much chemistry right now and they like to chuck the 3 -- and not in rhythm shots.

I'd be shocked if they don't destroy them here in a week or so when they face them in pool play. I'd imagine they probably had some discussions about the jacking shot shit. I'd hope.

Kerr experimenting with the lineups too much. Embiid should not be starting.

What was crazy about South Sudan, no indoor basketball facilities in the country. They practiced outside.

so the rumors of them using peach baskets nailed to an acacia or cape holly tree are true?

surely Luol Deng found them gym time in London (his 2nd home...)

If anyone pays attention to swimming, multi olympic gold medal winner Lilly King is the daughter of ISU Track and CC alum Mark King. Lilly is swimming the 100 and 200 breaststroke in Paris

are you tracking the actual ISU student-athletes and alumni that are competing or just the children of alumni?

as a ISU grad, little to no interest in an gloomington student playing tiddlywinks, jacks or craps

What an ending to the women’s bronze medal rugby match.

Perfect example of the “joy of victory and the agony of defeat”.

Even if you aren’t a rugby fan it was still a great game to watch.

Congrats to the women’s team for their first medal ever in rugby.
