Ok. Going to have a thread here for fans, boosters, supporters, alumni, former players and coaches, or just people who want to wish the Indiana State football team well in Saturday's home game with Missouri Valley Conference rival Youngstown State (2:05 p.m. kickoff at Memorial Stadium in Terre Haute). I'll print out the comments (please keep them clean and positive) and I'll give them to Coach Trent Miles this week.

Good luck Sycamores from a friendly alum in sunny Los Angeles! I'll be tailgating in the my apartment and watching the game online.

i could have either gone home and visited family for the weekend or stay around and watch the game. i'll be watching the game. good luck sycamores!!!

On the way home from my grandpas funeral, always keepin up on my Sycamores! Wish I could have made the WKU game and can't wait to watch Saturday. Keep giving people in Terre Haute a reason to believe, they will get the point eventually #Legggo

this needs to be a STATEMENT game.........PERIOD!

there are still waaaaaaaaaaay too many people who do NOT BELIEVE Indiana State football is for real (even after beating a I-A team for pete's sake!) A win this weekend will cement in their minds that ISU football is back on track and we mean business!

CRUSH Youngstown State!!

I'll keep my eyes here for the up dates while holding the first lady's hand here at Mayo Clinic here at Rochester Mn.

Mr. President.....hope it is not something serious. Not sure if the "first lady" is an old fart too, but on behalf of the old farts, we all are thinking positive thoughts for her.

go get'em Sycamores! This would be a HUGE win for the season and could propel the team into the playoffs!

As a former player....show no mercy. Don't be satisfied with last week. Dominate every play. This is your house....protect it! We'll be with you all the way.

See you Saturday.....can't wait.

- A former #45

Well put 45. One of the toughest things for an "emerging" team is having that killer attitude. I think we got a taste of it in Bowling Green last week but let's not stop now and keep up the intensity. GO TREES. (and for you people coming from Indy for the YSU game......the weather for the game looks PERFECT). Let's push that needle to 9,000 on Saturday~

Thank you, She's has bi-polar and manic depression and the meds haven't work. She's going through e.c.t.

How about this, just tell them YSU has NEVER lost a game in Memorial Stadium! THAT should be enough to motivate the team. Protect the home field!

This being our second year in the program I am very excited for this weekend.
Coming from a small high school where everybody knows your name and makes you feel like family, ISU football family has welcomed us in as family as well. I wish the players, coaches, and all staff members invovled a very good day this Saturday. Boys keep your head in the game and do not let others persuade you off your goal. I expect that as we continue our winning ways more supporters will make their way to Memorial Stadium.

As a long suffering ISU sports fan, I want you guys to win this one for all of us who never had a nationally competitive team to cheer for when we were in school! Go out and make a statement to Youngstown State and the rest of FCS. Get 'em down, and then CRUSH THEM!!!
You've already made us proud - now go out and win and prove to yourselves that all the hard work you put in was worth it!!!

And one more thing - I'm sick and tired of the fans of our conference "brethren" discounting any success that ISU teams have. "Last year was a fluke because of a beneficial schedule," or "...they got hot for a weekend." The only way to shut these people up is to WIN!!! So go out there and shut these people up!!!!!!!!!!!

It's no different for any fanbase other then Creighton and WSU. Creighton had a decade of success and deserve the respect they get. WSU cause they are all so out of touch with reality, and the present that's it is nauseating to even argue with them. With that said I think that Penguins are scared of trees which is why the hide in Antarctica. Go Trees thaw the guins

Another "Classic" excuse other teams' fans use when they lose to an Indiana State football team

"oh, it's a "down" year in the MVFC, that's why we lost to Indiana State"

Baloney, it's NOT a down year in the MVFC, ISU is that good, go out and PROVE IT on Saturday!

Can't be too much of a down year with 3 teams ranked in the top 15 and 4 teams in the top 25. Our guys just need to realize that they need to play every game with the intensity they showed Saturday--the rest will take care of itself.
