Yeah, we've officially got two openings again now.
I've not see any movement recently. There are some decent players still left in the portal but they've now missed the entire Summer basketball period so it would be difficult to pull the trigger on upperclassmen I'd think unless you have zero doubts they could come in and absorb it quickly.
I posted the MVC Conference call link in other thread and coach said they are going after 2 freshman.
Interesting. A big was mentioned earlier. I don't think we bring in an upperclassman big. Maybe younger would be ok. We already have our top 8-9 players.

It seemed like Lansing had several of these last-minute scholarships and I can't remember one of them ever working out for us.

I would be remiss if I didn’t add Masen Miller to this list. (Another great kid, student, and teammate from what I could tell, but not D1.)
Anyone signing this late is really behind the 8 ball and will struggle to get minutes this year.
Would imagine this signing is more about what they can contribute in 2025-2026 and beyond than the upcoming season.

I'm not really impatient just anxious to see the roster filled out. We should find out soon who the teaser tweets were referring to.
I don't think he's even entered the transfer portal yet. I think he literally just got cleared to play another year. He would certainly bring much needed experience to the roster.

Kid would be at his 5th school in 6 years I believe. But this is his final go around so who gives a shit honestly.
-He's from Indy, we are just next door.
-Looking for PT, we have PT available.
- We are a young team and need experience, he is as old as they come.
- Not to many spots available in college basketball at a higher level and we just do happen to be one of them.
- On paper we would instantly be a better team with him on the roster
