Ok. Didn't realize 3 months. I see your point. Perhaps not likely, but still think coaching staff signs someone for '24-'25 if they believe the recruit or transfer helps the team this year & possibly beyond.

@jturner38 mentioned that they said the would be signing 2 high schoolers in an interview a couple weeks ago.

Could they forgo using the last scholarship this year and instead having a bigger class next year? Sure, but one of the things that is missed besides needing someone to play is you need bodies for practice. They've talked about how much more 5-on-5 they play so you are quick to needing Odum or Johnson to suit up in practice if we get hit with injuries, sickness, etc.

It doesn't appear we are going after him. I saw a list of schools showing interest and we were not one of them. I would imagine the staff has already targeted someone for our last scholly but we'll see.

I agree. He'd bring much needed experience. Maybe he doesn't want to play closer to home. Who knows?

These days you also have to consider if guys with experience are going to be out of our price range or not.

I thought we had determined that this was his 4th year? Bio shows '22-'25. Wasn't '21 the covid year?

Grad year isn’t counted toward your 4 year eligibility. But this is 4th year currently.

You can only play 4 years. There is no extra year for grads.
