Getting my first glimpse of Drake tonight vs KState. I just don’t watch much college hoops outside of InState but I will give this a half.

Drake trying to leap frog some programs and get that Big East invite
If it gets to the point where the Big East wants Drake, I don't know if the Big East will he worth joining.
Of course, one might have said the same about Creighton once upon a time
Mascari for Drake is what SIU wish Trent Brown was but never was… They tried to wish it into existence and it failed miserably.
This would be a good tape for Graves and co to scout prior to playing Drake.
- Contain the pick and roll. Stirtz is going to pocket pass you to death in that - like just gamble and assume it’s coming into the passing lane.
- Don’t let Mascari get free. Can’t let him get going.
- Stay home on the dribble drive lob passes. Do a lot of this.
- Got to deflect passes and get Drake to turn it over a bit. Can’t let them get cozy.
KState was in big time trouble in this game - I mean mega. But they fought back by taking Stirtz and Mascari away.

I love how their response to him/her is "at least we don't have to live in Mayberry, Indiana".
It's funny because Mayberry is the literal idealized version of the American dream. If you had the choice to raise your kids in Mayberry or Saint Louis, nobody would willingly choose to live in "the Lou"
yeah "Observer" has the SLU posters going ape-shit. If they a had a minimum of basketball acumen they would know what is wrong with their team. There are only two players that understand, or who are running Shirtz's offense. No penetrating guards except Swope, no cutters. You never see a no-dribble layup in their games.
