I guess those guys were on Drakes 1969 final four team
Most look too young to be on that Maury John team...
at least three of that squad are Hooping in Heaven

Well… It really helps when you have an elite PG play in college basketball especially in March. It’s always held true - if you’ve got a coin flip game in March give me the team with the better PG.
I once knew a coach that had the opportunity to be the HC of that Louisville program and access to that NIL $$$, but he had a problem with premature e…well you all know the rest.
To go with my previous post…
Watching Drake get destroyed inside right now.
Terribly boring and the worst I can remember in a long time.Cowherd is totally off base. He may not watch underdogs play after they upset someone in the first round....but a lot of us do. The Cinderella story is what drives March Madness.....you lose that and you'll lose what has made this tournament so special. And we are getting close to that now. We only had a few upsets this year and I feel like it was a pretty boring first 2 rounds....but maybe that's just me.

I can't argue against what you are saying. Money controls just about everything. I won't watch nearly as much as I would have when underdogs are playing. I will probably check out the national championship, but I will not go out of my way to watch any other game. I guess we will see how the TV ratings show the sweet 16 is viewed. I will argue the ratings will be lower than when multiple higher seeds have been in it.I mean I don’t disagree with any of this…
I will just say and most here probably realize this - it’s all about the money and those other teams have massive dedicated diehard fan bases who are going to keep buying tickets and keep watching regardless of a cinderella story being present or not - it makes for more excitement and it makes us feel better to argue that point… But it doesn’t matter AT ALL.
I didn’t watch a single minute last year and I’ve only watched a couple half’s maybe this year - I watched Conwell I should say. Other than that, I pretty much refuse to support it for what it has become. The only thing I can say to anyone who hates what it’s become, don’t watch! Because by watching - you’re basically proving the point they are making that mids being relevant or not all eyes are still on the tournament.
What’s funny about all this is I geek out on the first two rounds, still pretty intrigued by Sweet 16 games, and then typically lose interest by the Final Four.I can't argue against what you are saying.
