Thank you for posting a long response that doesn’t answer the question at all.
Being in the MVFC vs the OVC for football would have little to no effect on revenue. We're still going to draw the same crowds we always do and we're still going to be able to play the FBS buy games like we always have.

**sigh** no - The ISU Varsity Club/Athl Department did not raise $100M this year or $123M last year on Give To Blue Day...

In 2022 - ISU athletics were named in donations totaling $574,815 (the 3 largest groups WITHIN ISU athletics: MBB, FBall and Baseball in that order)
Here's the complete report - do the research:

https://givetoblue.indstate.edu/giving-day/47242/set/4479

As to 2023... again, the URL - do the research:

The $100M is what the ISU Foundation raised for a variety of projects, programs, etc. - some of it was probably earmarked for Athletics but NOT the full $100M. Furthermore, I think the $100M is what was promised, committed to ISU - I doubt they have the full amount in hand today.

No clue where you've contrived $123M.
It was a question. Didn’t they raise?

Which if I’m reading the chart correctly would fall under “competition guarantees”, and that covers 3% of the football budget.

So why are you demanding a move to the OVC? 2-9... 4-7... what the hell is the difference? both losing records in a football division that this country does not pay significant attention to, regardless of the teams.

what part of the answer is difficult for you? "No."

or

"No, the $100M was raised during ISU Capitol Campaign."
It’s not difficult Jerkoff, as usual, your selective listening, and said “I Have No Clue Where You Got 123 million” I asked didn’t we raise that. Of course, your usual useless answer is tons of insults, lots of “I’m Always Right”, and at the end of the day, Your STiLL a miserable human being.

He’s not demanding anything Mr. Know It All. Just a lesser competitive league, and lesser dollars for travel. Of course, you want to pick a fight with him.

I think you're right that the buy game is under competition guarantee. However, that revenue chart is for all of ISU's Athletics not just ISU Football. Last time I checked ISU's football budget is reported at somewhere around $4.2M and their revenue is reported to be a hair higher than that. I've also seen it posted by Jason on here that approximately 40% of the football budget is scholarship related.

Let him speak for himself - you have enough trouble staying out of jail

And another thing about getting rid of football to fund basketball. If I was The Head Coach of ISU Basketball, I wouldn’t want ANY part of getting rid of football to give me a bigger money contract. All those players busting their ass at practice and giving it their all at games. All the coaches working on a skeleton budget, just to give me more money. I’d quit before it was ever suggested. Don’t know HCJS, but a Stand Up Guy in my mind, I’m pretty sure he would agree.

Listen closely - You asked IF we raised it. I provided an answer and the source.

One of those MUST have confused you, why else post the SAME QUESTION AGAIN!?

So, I will answer your question again -- NO. ISU Athletics did NOT raise $100M or $123M over the last two years.

ISU athletics DID raise $585K+ in 2022 and a similar $$ in 2023.

What part of ANY of those answers confuses you?

Listen closely. Can we raise more money now that this team is on fire? I believe we can. I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror like you Warriors behind a keyboard if we eliminated a 100 year program to pay me more money. Shertz always returns my email. Want me to ask him? I wouldn’t do that to your insult crew. Let’s find a different way to raise money.

the football team is over a century old, has virtually zero ROI, cannot compete with current peers, has an abysmal stadium, has an overall losing record and a handful of post-season appearances.

The MBB is the polar opposite of the football team.

Schertz's perspective on keeping, not keeping the football team is immaterial to me.

But I will ask... when he replies to your emails, does he ask you to spell his name correctly?

95% of college football teams have Zero ROI. That includes FBS.

So we should continue this insanity?

ISU does not have the $$$ to support this large of a drain, hell albatross, on the revenue of the university.

-Before this year what was the ROI for basketball. Even this year it must be pretty bad when we are giving away most of the tickets. What is the ROI on Cross Country, Track and Field, Women's Basketball and Swimming?

Higher than football's has ever been.

Insightful of you to cite a number of non-revenue, aka Olympic sports.

Given their absolute rock bottom position of "costs" for a Div I program - they're still not the drain that football is and will remain.
