Aint that the truth... I wonder what they say about this place behind our back. lol As if it's ever mattered.

Definitely doesn't, but I know what they should be saying. Looking at that donor wall, at least 35-40% have an account here that I can quickly recall.

EDIT: That challenge has now been hit. I had ulterior motives with that challenge as it would cascade the Bill Mallory challenge. Next year, I hope they allow you to make challenges in memoriam.

If your employer does matching gifts, it might be worth a try to get them to match your gift to Elevate. My company only stipulates that I cannot receive special benefits for the donation. Since we don't get any special benefits for this donation, I submitted it and I am pretty sure it will get matched.

Just a thought for you all...

Great job all! Track and cross country donors currently lead in total number of people who have made donations, the winning team gets an extra $1000 per one of the challenges

Just got our donation in, nice to see so many SP members contributing! Hope the donations continue to roll in like they have been!....I saw there is a challenge for gifts given to the men's basketball team. If 40 donations are made to Mens basketball, then a $20,000 donation will be made!

Once argued on here many-a-time a non revenue generating sport... We've got a lot of proud alums who open the pocket book year in and year out for the programs we competed for. Track and XC programs success and our facilities should be all you need to know about the importance of the all mighty dollar and its corrolation to the nicest Cross Country course in the Nation, a new outdoor track, a new indoor track, new coaches offices and an additional indoor jumps/sprints training area.

Fans need to donate. Alumni need to donate. But none of that will ever happen at the level it should if the athletes that compete for other sports teams don't be leaders in the effort to fund success - if you don't do it how can you expect anyone else to do it?!

Prediction time - where all do you think this thing will be at by the end of the day (online total only) with all matches included?? All well knowing that some have sent in donations via mail and other ways.

I'm saying that we will get to $49,500.

Everyone that has donated and PM'd me has had their Supporting Membership added. Keep 'em coming, guys!

Keep in mind they need to not be anonymous so I can confirm against the donor wall.

I donated but I paid my supporting membership today too anyway. I apologize for letting that lapse. I have a lot of fun shooting the $hit and arguing with you guys on here.

I will make individual $5 donations to make sure that is hit if it isn't by the deadline.

It's at 18/40 now. Anyone want to join me?

Donate smarter, not harder.
