New store or new location?

Interesting that no one has a problem when stores, restaurants are closed on Sundays but lose their minds when liquor stores and car dealerships are closed on Sundays...

:unsure::unsure::unsure:
Old store and new location. Old KMart building. Basically just right across 41. They updated the facade of the building looks great.

to add to this, I sure hope ISU realizes they are going to need more people working the concession stands next Sunday, the lines were horribly long at halftime, so I am sure people missed some of the 2nd half if they bothered to stay in line. I expect a big crowd next Sunday, and it will especially big if we win at Belmont.
I was thinking they would’ve made a killing by having a person selling hot dogs (or whatever) that brings it to you in the stands. I was hungry but didn’t want to spend 30 minutes in the line. I would’ve bought just about anything that was edible.

Yeah I haven’t even bothered with ISU’s concession stand the last couple games. They need more workers or a better system. Something. Because waiting in line for 15 mins isn’t an option for me.

But I’d long concession stand lines are what we have to complain about - things are going really really well!S
Simple solution to problem. Set up some portable beer and soft drink stands around the concourse . That way the only lines are for popcorn candy and hot dogs. Even set up a few specialty kiosks to sell ice cream, or dipping dots, etc. How about $3 12 ounce drafts of THBC Sycamore beer on tap up until tip off? Encourage the crowd to get here early and get loud!!! Make sure the ticket office and Hulman center is open 90 minutes before game time next Sunday. People should not have to stand in line 15 minutes to hand over their hard earned cash???!!! This is not rocket science guys!

Couple things: We haven't had crowds like yesterday for a while. Also, as nice as the renovations are, I don't think the new concession stand layout is great at all.

Ahh..but to a select few...it is absolutely rocket science.

2 registers is a problem in my eyes....the products are already made and ready but the registers are slow....no reason not to have 4 registers.

It seems like we usually get our best crowds against Illinois State to be honest. It's the "Battle of the ISU's" and we play them in every major sport, so they're well known among the casual fans. SIU is usually a decent draw too.

I don't know what that is. It got better with a late push. I give extra credit for coming to sporting events and free talks....but I've still only had 3 (of 60) take advantage.

I think we've had some decent student turnouts this year, yesterday was disappointing.
Yes, very disappointing. We had a good crowd yesterday, just a non-existent student section. I seen a bigger student section on Friday night at a high school game with a total enrollment of around 500.

It was the day before game day and I had to wonder...

Can the Redbirds sneak up on us tomorrow? Negative, but they did cut the lead to 8 in the second half.
Or will we win by 20+? Negative, but it certainly could have been.
How about by 30+? Negative.
Will Robbie have the game of his life on Goggle Day? Negative, but hey, it was a great day.
Or is it gonna be like the curse of being on the cover of Madden? Stats-wise, not super awesome, but didn't need to be, and hey, it was a great day.
How many games has our starting five been Voss, Neese, Henry, Larry, Avila? I'll look it up eventually.
Of those games, what's our record? See response above.
Who will Jayson Kent's next interview be? It was Isaac Holmes!
With the Redbirds ranked 6th in the NCAA in FT%, can we keep them off the line? They were 15-19, but we were 30-35.
Which of our bench players will play the most minutes? Trenton.
Which of our bench players will score the most points? Trenton.
Which of our bench player will we see at the post-game press conference? Trenton.
Or will it be strictly a press conference of starters? Negative.
And I always have to wonder (with nothing more than innocent curiosity), what will the attendance be? 5,862!

Good attendance for an early season game. I think if we can keep winning we can start to see these type crowds with some regularity. Then the big games toward the end of the season can be closer to 9k-10k.
