I have searched around looking for the correct font and no luck so I had to recreate it in CAD. I traced it from an image and made some corrections for symmetry. I then exported into Gimp for photo manipulation and layering. I think it turned out almost exact.
How big do you have the whole logo? Does Gimp save in PSD for use in Photoshop? If so, can I get it?
Does Gimp open PSDs? If so, I've got a slew of helmet PSDs I can send you.

I can send you what I have, no problem. Gimp does open PSD files, but doesn't handle the layers very well. I believe Gimp wll save in PSD, but again, not sure about the layers. I'll get back with you tomorrow when I'm in front of the PC that has everything.

Jason, I sent you a PM with a link to my Google Drive with the files. I exported the whole logo as a PSD and I also exported just the "S" if you want to play around with it. I'd like to see your other PSD's you mention above.
With football season coming back around and it being pretty dead, may have to work up some new concepts. Maybe some black carbon fiber helmets?

That's what I meant by "stirring the pot", and my my subsequent comment--obviosuly it did. I'm all about the blue and white.
I wouldn't mind them if done correctly.
