The Varsity Level
I would like to see us lure an existing successful D1AA/FCS HC. Regardless the person needs to have the ability to engage the community to promote involvement. and generate interest

Kevin Wright is actually an intriguing candidate. He's had a rather unstable last couple of years since leaving Warren Central, bouncing to Tulsa Union and then to Western Kentucky. He may like where he is at and the stability, but then again, he may thirst for an opportunity to break into the head coaching ranks.I would like for us to go after, Kevin Wright, ex Warren Central football coach who won three state championships in a row. Currently, offensive coordinator at Western Kentucky, and averaging 30+ ppg. Seems like a no brainer to me, highly successful Indiana coach who could recruit Indiana kids, coaching friends in the state, attendence, which would bring in revenue. My only concern is would RP even consider hiring him? I need your opinion here. We're not talking about a Purdue FB program, but ISU. If there would be an interest in him, I'm pretty sure, not pretty sure, but real sure I could convincehim to bring his talents to Terre Haute. Please give me your take.
He would definitely be another guy worth inquiring about. He knows the program as he played at State and was also a grad assistant here. However, he may be too far removed to step down like that unless he has head coaching aspirations. How about Trent Miles? Currently an assistant at University of Washington, also has coached at Oklahoma, Stanford, Notre Dame and for the Green Bay Packers. ISU alum and native Hautian!
