anyone else notice what little coverage ISU football receives in the greater Indy area? Very little coverage in the Indy Star, very little, if any/or ever, on the local 1070 the fan radio show(s). ISU is perhaps the poorest performer in all levels of college football and the local media...
I wonder when they flew up?
Anyway, down 7-0 early, but they have already forced the bye-zun to punt in the 1st quarter.
Golden is blogging for those interested

this could possibly be a blowout of epic proportions too.
came across this interview link in the Fargo paper today. Golden was interviewed by the Idaho State writer. Idaho State has the 2nd longest losing streak (I think) behind Indiana State in I-AA FB.
Also, Iowa State, the other ISU, is just as pathetic, having lost a bunch of games in a row too...
ok, so Golden did some research and apparently ISU is playing at Louisville in 2009, but the Tulsa game is off, so right now ISU has one I-A game scheduled in 2009. Plus I would assume (as mentioned in another thread) that EIU will come to ISU in 2009. So that leaves one more game to be...
from his blog, apparently media day is Tuesday for the Gateway, I think Golden is a little off with his predictions of the order of finish though. No way do both dakta schools finish that high.

is now posted on the ISU site, just 5 home games. How many (if any) wins do you all see in this schedule??

from today's Trib Star:
Sounds optimistic, I will hold my judgement until later:
On a side note, signing day is Feb. 6th, so we'll see how many recruits sign with ISU. The most obvious need is on defense.

Miles must be traveling the midwest as a couple people have agreed to come to ISU.

I went to look at the ncaa's site to see just how bad ISU is compared to the other 115 I-AA teams in the country. Some startling statistics thru Oct. 21st
Running Offense rank 80th
Passing Offense rank 104th
Total offense rank 112th (averaging 255 yards per game)
Now some of the really bad...
I would like to see us lure an existing successful D1AA/FCS HC. Regardless the person needs to have the ability to engage the community to promote involvement. and generate interest
checked in briefly, ISU down 13-3 at the half, ISU driving on their 1st possession in the
2nd half. No real surprises yet. I still suspect this is ISU's last shot for a win in 2007 as the rest of the schedule is against teams that are all ranked in the I-AA polls. Except WKU of course.
