Going to be down a 30 spot… Good lord. Going to be a really long year. FAU looks really good but this is not much resistance we’re putting up. An absolute shit effort in the first 20 mins.
Man, just no attempt at movement at the basket. FAU doesn't have to do anything to defend this.
Most of you have a much higher understanding of the X’s and O’s of basketball…tell me…do you see any resemblance to last years scheme-wise?

Gents - this might be the worst sycamore team we’ve seen in quite some time. I have seen very little to be positive about other than an occasional Teel three.

I get not stopping the 7 footers but that Morretti going up and under is frustrating as hell
Definitely not other than the emphasis on the outside shot. Last year’s scheme was dictated on ball movement and spacing, and I’m not sure these guys can even know what those words mean.
Hopefully we're not as bad as we appear to be so far. Terrible defense no recognizable offense compared to last season.
The only thing that resemble's last years team is the color of our uniforms and Cooper Bean on the bench!!
They are running a similar scheme - without a doubt. You can run that O all you want but - the cast of characters is what made it go… They had the perfect mix of talent.
It’s really not even fair to compare the two. Anyone who came in expecting anything remotely close to what we watched the last two years - was always going to be disappointed. I don’t have enough time to really break down the why’s because it’s a really long list.

I would love to see the shot chart from that half. Ton of looks at the rim that didn't go. Obviously need to find a different defensive level if we aren't going to make buckets at a high clip.
If we go 38-40 for 3 this second half we have a chance

Frustrating first half to say the least. Lots of little mistakes due to inexperience that all led to points on the other end. Plus being too soft at the rim. If we could finish layups it would be a more respectable 53-40 or something like that at the half.
