I didn’t expect us to win this game - I just wanted us to be competitive and not shit the bed. I wanted to see some bright spots to give me some hope.

My only hope is that FAU looks really good - we probably contributed to that. Teel looks nice. Wagner is a decent player off the bench but he ain’t the answer by any stretch of the imagination. Other than that? I don’t have much positive to say.

How much NIL money did this bunch cost? I'm just afraid that our money will never be near enough to really compete. Not saying these guys won't be a lot better as the season goes on. This FAU bunch looks very good with us guarding them at least..

I’ve spent my career using the “it’s the jimmies and joes, not the X’s and O’s“ quote, but this resembles pick-up basketball scheme-wise to me.

Definitely not other than the emphasis on the outside shot. Last year’s scheme was dictated on ball movement and spacing, and I’m not sure these guys can even know what those words mean.

Do you know how drunk you're going to be at Arch Madness? May want to start socking away a couple more bucks a week now.

Gents - this might be the worst sycamore team we’ve seen in quite some time. I have seen very little to be positive about other than an occasional Teel three.
Im absolutely confused? Listening to his interviews, he mentioned he would have s lot of the same type of offense like last years team, but some of his own offense as well. I’m not seeing ANYTHING organized. Just pass the ball and shoot? I can’t believe what I’m watching?

Been hard to keep track of which player has done what (I haven’t found a reliable box score), but has Summers scored yet?

Flat out, he looks baaaad.

You guys have to stop… Respectfully, just because it looks nothing like what we were running last year doesn’t mean it’s not the same offense. I will break this down in very specific detail for you all tomorrow. But stop saying we’re not running the same offense - because it’s just not accurate.

The offense is predicated on someone serving as the high post hub and then off the ball cutting movement in space to give the hub options to hit the cutter or spaced shooters.

What we've found out in 25 minutes is we don't have that hub.

He and Cook don't look ready at all. Not that the others are setting the world on fire, but they look really, really lost and are just making volume bad decisions.
