[October 15, 2011] Western Illinois (2-3) at #21 Indiana State (4-2)

I am sitting here eating breakfast after a wedding...I had to contain myself at the reception as I kept hearing about bells long runs. Once again...WIU got the "I am an Indiana state opponent" treatment from opposing fans...and now they will get the "god they suck" or "(insert team name) played bad" treatment because they lost to state.

Good win. I never really felt like we weren't going to win. It just seemed like we had more talent across the board. Once we got it rolling, we were unstoppable. Also thought that was the biggest crowd I've seen in many years.

Bell was great but what Obaseki? 22 tackles. 3 sacks. Forced fumble!

Does anyone know where Cheeseborough was?

if Tanner is still injured then noone has any reason to complain, he's out there doing the best he can do and I am sure he will continue to do his best every time he enters the game. He's only a freshman, so he is going to be one of the all time greats at ISU.

on a side note, I didn't even realize ISU used a diff. player for one of it's PAT'S?

FYI: Thank the good Lord we have someone like Austin who can come in to cover for the kicker thats trying to play with a torn groin, not that could possibly affect the kicking game. And I promise you, he and I can take anything you put on this site, so criticize away.

The kid limps off the field after every kick. May be an indication of injury.

I think he may have gotten one tackle on a return.
