The Wade Level
I considered a few universities but The Indiana State University was the only one I applied for admission to.

As a student, I can unfortunately confirm this ideology. Many students spend the weekends going to Bloomington or West Lafayette living the life they didn't have the grades to.I think most ISU students are a bunch of losers. Sitting around, playing on their phones wishing they could have gone to college at a big 10 school.
I think the only way it doesn't hurt you badly is if you blow bad teams out. but if it's even remotely close than yes it drags SOS waaaaay down.IUPUI would seriously have a negative effect on our SOS .... better to play a D2 rather than play them (win or holy cow lose) ?

Those are exactly the reasons I chose ISU.I'd think $$$ for school and the overall size of the campus/school play a role as well
First thing is you have to look at current series we have. For example we have a 4 year contract with USI. So we play them for 3 more years. Then you try to reach out to teams and no matter how you feel another school can say No for many reasons. We can't control that. We aren't going to do a bunch buy games. We have to find teams that will come here too so we will have home games. So scheduling isn't that simple even though you would think it should be. Annual challenge series is up to the league and whatever other conference that you want to do it with. The pre conference schedule is always the issue. I hope Clink is down in Florida and all the other AD's are there as well to do some networking. There is no reason why we can not schedule some of these teams in the CBI for a home and home series. Particularly the ones that are not too far away from Indiana. Also, with all Division 1 schools starting to schedule a conference game or two in December, why can't we get an A-10 team to come play us in Hulman Center when they have to travel to St. Louis or Dayton??? With only one bid from the A-10 this year in the big dance with VCU? What do they really have to lose?? Why would some of them not want to schedule us for a home and home series. Also, we have to team up with another mid major conference like we did with the Mountain West for an annual challenge series. I am not convinced these Thanksgiving tournaments do much of anything for anybody except cost a ton of money to travel, feed and house the team. Everyone is experimenting with roster line ups and seeing who can really be ready to play each season. Wins or losses in these tournaments probably don't matter that much when it comes to NCAA bids or seedings for anybody. This would solve a lot of our issues with scheduling and make the entire season more entertaining and meaningful for everyone. Thoughts?????
In the Fall. When will the 23-24 basketball schedule be posted
And Fall starts, in just five months. In the Fall.
Whoever will do it.definitely a fan of the idea...
what conference?
Mtn West?
Atl-10?
Whoever will do it.
Whoever will do it.
I wonder if a triple challenge would work. Have a challenge between MVC, MWC, and C-USA.Has to be a Top 16 conference only. Anything lower and you potentially blow your NET/BPI/RPIs.

MVC should do a challenge series with the SOCON. It's by far the best fit in my view. They were down this year, but usually they are right on par with the MVC.
