Wow. I thought Ozark wine was another name for moonshine.

Things have been blowing up over on the forums at MSUBearNation.com for like the last 18 hours. Some posters over there would have you believe it was a ref on the grassy knoll with the whistle.

They're even arguing with each other over who is the biggest for real MSU fan.

after the way the football game ended this fall....

and the way that wednesday night's basketball game concluded.....MSU fans must feel like Terre Haute is french for "Homer City"....lol......but, really, who cares????.....lol...

Going back to the MSU game, they got a free TD going into halftime. Poor officiating cuts both ways and they lost both games. They make a defensive stop in either the football or basketball game and they go home with the W. To borrow a phrase from SSOM, BOOM!
 
I don't understand why they even would think the last call was questionable. They also act like they didn't draw more fouls than our team did anyway. lol. so much butthurt on one forum. It's amazing.
 
Since they shot 24 free throws to our 15 I don't believe they got homered too bad.Our 15th was a big one though.Usually the MVC referees are so bad both sides complain equally anyway.
 
I am so tired of their bitching...look at MVC fans talking about how "we got lucky it didnt go to OT" and that "our honeymoon is about to be over" I am so tired of this...Nothing would make me happier than to go to Wichita and win by 40 then they will say, "they caught wichita at the right time, they suck something awful right now, their schedule is sooo timely."

their board is hella amusing lol.. a bunch of whining and blaming the refs. oh we played terrible blah blah blah.
 
Refs gave them every chance to win. That's how it is though in sports. Fans rarely want to admit the other team out played them and give them credit. It was not our best game and we still beat them.

Pretty much.

- They shot 17 free throws to our 5 in the 2nd half. They were shooting FTs in the bonus at 13:13 left in the 2nd half. Before the last foul, we had been whistled 15 times to their 7.

- They shot 47.8% from the floor (0% from three, 0-2) to our 53.3% (75%, 6 for 8) in the 2nd half.

That's the game, folks. If they didn't get all of those calls, we win the game going away. That's the reality, too.

It's not as bad with the name calling...it's just the really bad repetitive opinions that are just flat out annoying...and it's not that I can't appreciate an opposite opinion...it's that you can word them in a way that doesnt basically make them sound douchebagish...I turn into a douchebag when other people's act like douchebags flat-out lol

If we win going away, and we would have, our students would not have rushed the floor. Then they would not have that to whine about. Bottom line is this: had we played the first half like we did the second half they would have had their tails tucked with nothing to whine about. Alas, we didn't so now we have the world class whiners to contend with.:krazy::verysad: Makes me regret that, someplace on SP, I congratulated their crow eaters for having some class.:(:eek:

Who is that human "elbow brace?" Surely not 1st Team All-MVC candidate Kyle Weems?

Do they still consider everything from the elbow on down as "part of the ball" over in the SW Mo Zoo? :)

But, according to their fans, the refs shouldn't have called it--the refs shouldn't determine how the game ends! :verysad:

Though they certainly tried to throughout, it was Weems who decided to foul. Their player (and Kelly's clutch free throw!) determined how that game ended.
