Without checking on the phone or computer, can anyone tell me the Pre-Season First Team All Conference Teams for the Big Ten & SEC?

No, but I bet you every major college basketball sports writer retweeted the list and possibly wrote an article or two about it. If we are going to be bigtime, we have to act bigtime. The lists are great fodder for fan engement, discussion and debate. Are they vital to the health of the conference, probably not, but they do matter to a lot of fans that hope to see their favorite player(s) on the list.

Do you also think everyone should get a participation trophy? Because the "players to watch" list is exactly that.

Thoughts on the UNIs?

Personally don’t really care for them. Our brand is with the way the powder blue uniforms look. Don’t understand why we don’t do royal blue and white variations of that every year for uniforms. That is how they should ALWAYS look. You don’t see premier programs changing their “look” ever, why should we?

And just to be clear I like the way the white uniforms look but hate the royal blue ones

The classic baby blues are timeless...I would prefer our "regular" white and royal blue uni's use some version of Indiana written with the silhouette of the state for the "I" on top and State underneath the number in equal distance and proportion. But, a bad uni won't keep me from watching them,

This "Morning in the Valley" features Joey O'Rourke and an ISU preview.

Joey sounds a little too high on Marcus Harding in my opinion, saying his rebounds and scoring should double over last year, but it's always good to get his take.

At this point in Harding's career, I think he is what he is, regardless of the system he's playing in. Just take care of the ball, play better defense, and I'll be happy with his on-court production.

Not saying Hardings production is going to double, that is insanely hard to do at this level. But is Joey at the practices often?

Right now I believe our 1-3 positions are pretty dang good
4 is an enormous questions mark
5 is at least serviceable at minimum.

If we get at least "good" production at the center position I think we will surprise a lot of people in the valley

For Vorst that’s not surprising he was injured last summer and throughout the season. But I heard the coaches say they really been pushing each other along with Hunter. They should really be able to run the floor with them being in better conditioning.
